TenaGRC was built on a dream that started in Ethiopia, the beautiful scenery at the top of this page. Ethiopia was a land where creativity outpaced resources, and imagination was often the greatest tool I had.
I’ve always been fascinated by the way technology can solve real-world problems. As I studied cybersecurity and gained experience through internships, I discovered a passion for helping organizations make sense of risk. But I also noticed a gap. Too many companies were overwhelmed by confusing frameworks and technical jargon.
I wanted to change that.
My name is Nathanim Philipos, and I founded TenaGRC to make risk simple, clear, and accessible. "Tena" means health in Amharic, my native tongue. Just like you check your physical health with a quick scan or test, I believe organizations should be able to check their risk health without going through long, exhausting readiness assesments or non-technical audits.
TenaGRC is a vision, to take the stress and confusion out of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), and replace it with clarity, automation, and confidence. Our goal is to empower leaders and teams to see where they stand, understand what matters, and act wisely no technical jargon required.
This is just the beginning. One day, I hope TenaGRC becomes a tool that helps revolutionize how audits are done: faster, smarter, and more human.
